Introduction
The Batch Processor is a tool available to our Pro Standard customers to evaluate one or more addresses via an interface which can accept a CSV file and returns a CSV file.
The Batch Processor tool is useful for someone who needs rent statistics on many properties. It can be tedious running one report at a time using our standard web interface.
Once you have logged in to Rentometer with a Pro Standard account, you can access our new version of the Batch Processor.

How to use the Batch Processor:
Before you begin, please note:
- We can't accept the number (#) symbol in input.
- We recommend 500 addresses or less per batch.
- One address = 1 API credit.
- You can include up to 3 additional fields to the input file, which can be passed to the output file.
- Input format example:
- Note that the full address is in one field.

Address, latitude, longitude, bedrooms, baths, building type, look back days, mean, median, min, max, 25th percentile, 75th percentile, standard deviation, number of samples, radius in miles, Quickview URL, credits, token
Note: You can also specify up to three of your own fields which will be appended to the end of the field list above.

Below are the directions on how to merge the three address columns in to one:
Open the CSV file in Excel
In the first open column, click on the cell for the first record (assuming line 1)
Type: =CONCAT(B1,","," ",C1," ", D1)
Hit Enter
Pull the bottom right corner "button" down every record to copy the formula to the
bottom of your data.
Click on the menu item "File" and select "Save As" ...
towards the bottom of the screen pick File Format CSV and save the file.

Instructions
- Navigate to https://batchtool.rentometer.com/batch-processor
- On this page you will see your previously run Batch Processor reports.
- Note: There is a 3 dot elliptical button to the right of the completed batch reports. If you click on it, you have the option to View, Delete or Download the previously run reports. If you view the previous reports, you have the option to re-process them.
- Click on the Build New Batch button in orange
- You will see a default Batch Processor report name (name your batch). There is a pencil icon next to the name. You can change the default name to whatever you like.
- You can download a sample file (download an example link) and replace the data with your own. Once you save the file, just upload it to the download area by choosing the Upload link. You can upload more than one file at a time. You also have the option to manually add your addresses, beds and baths in the data entry area.

Next is a step to map your input file column names to our Preferred Field Name if you have not used the recommended field names (Address, Bedrooms, Baths). You can skip this step and click the blue Confirm button if none of the boxes are highlighted in red. Otherwise, match Rentometer’s preferred field name to your column header name by using the drop down options.
- You can select up to 3 additional fields from your input file to be included in your output results. When you are done click the Confirm button.
- Next set the filters which will apply to all of your records: Look back period and Building Type. There is a Recalculate button if you want results for different filters after the initial run. (see above)
- If you would like to remove any of the addresses that have loaded, you can choose the Edit button, check the boxes next to the addresses you want to remove, and then click on the Clear Selection button.
- Finally, click the Process button.

- Once you choose the Confirm button, you will be informed of how many API credits will be used to run the batch.
- Once confirmed, the process kicks off
- Once the process completes, download the results
- The newly created batch report will be added to your Completed Batch Processor Reports.
