How to Access the Pro Report
To get started, run a QuickView™ Rent Estimate for your property. Once the estimate is generated, click the “View Pro Report” button to unlock the full report using one Pro Report credit.

Your interactive Pro Report will load in seconds, featuring charts, comparable properties, and detailed public record data—all curated to give you a clear understanding of the rental landscape around your property.
Section 1: Google Street View & Rent Estimate Summary
At the top of the report, you’ll see a Google Street View image of your subject property. This provides helpful visual context for the property's surroundings.
To the right, you’ll find the same data featured in our QuickView™ Rent Estimate, including the average rent, median rent, and rent percentiles—all based on comparable nearby properties. This section gives you a quick snapshot of where your property stands in the local market.
Additional Features
At the top of the Pro Report, you’ll find a set of convenient tools to help you explore and share your report more easily.
Google Search
Click the Google icon to instantly search for your subject property online—perfect for finding listings, images, or past sale history.
Street View
Jump into Street View to virtually tour the property's surroundings and get a feel for the neighborhood.
Print Report
Want a hard copy or downloadable version of your report? Click the print icon to be sent to 'My Reports'. Here you can access a clean, printer-friendly PDF for any previous search.
💡 Tip: Custom Report Branding only shows in our PDF Pro Report. If you’ve added custom branding to your report, be sure to click the “Print Report” button. This will redirect to your My Reports page, where you can select “Download/Print PDF” to view and download your fully branded report. If you share the report via email using the share button, the custom branded PDF will be automatically included.
Email Share
Need to share a report with a client, team member, or investor? Just click the share icon to instantly open a pre-filled email window—quick and easy! The PDF version of the Pro Report will include your branding if you’ve selected it.
Section 2: Interactive Charts & Summary Analysis
The interactive charts in the Pro Report are where the data really comes to life. These visual tools help you spot trends, compare property types, and understand how rent prices vary across your search area—all at a glance.
- Historical Trend Line: See how average rents have changed over time. This dynamic line graph charts three years of rent trends, with a blue line representing monthly averages and an orange line showing rolling quarterly averages to smooth out seasonal shifts. Hover over any point to view exact rent values for a specific month.
- Average Rent by Bedroom Type: Quickly compare average rents for 1- to 4-bedroom units in your selected area with this side-by-side bar graph—no need to run multiple reports.
- Summary Statistics: Dive into the data with a table that breaks down the sample size, rent range, standard deviation, and other key statistical insights.

Rent Distribution: This histogram gives you a clear view of how rent prices are spread across your data set, helping you identify pricing clusters or outliers at a glance.
Section 3: Interactive Map of Rental Comparables
Next, you'll find an interactive map displaying all the comparable rental properties used in your report. This map offers a powerful, visual way to explore your rental market and see exactly where comps are located in relation to your subject property.
Here’s what you can do with the map:
- Zoom In and Out: Adjust your view to focus on a specific neighborhood or zoom out to see comps across a broader area.

Click on Property Pins: Each pin represents a comparable property. Click any pin to view detailed info about that listing—including rent amount, address, unit size, and more. Color coding helps you instantly understand pricing levels:
- Green: Lower-end rents
- Blue: Mid-range rents
- Red: Higher-end rents

Orange House Icon: Your subject property
Street View Access: Want to virtually walk the neighborhood? Use Street View to explore the property's surroundings and get a better sense of its curb appeal and local environment.
Section 4: Detailed List of Comparable Properties
As you scroll further down the report, you’ll find a list of up to 25 comparable properties used in the rent estimate. This table includes key details for each comp, such as:
- Address
- Distance from your subject property
- Rent price
- Property specs (bedrooms, bathrooms, building type, square footage)

Last seen date (when Rentometer last recorded the listing)
This list makes it easy to compare your property to others in the area and spot pricing trends or anomalies. You can sort any column—whether you want to see the highest rents, the most recently recorded comps, or properties closest to your address. By default, comps are sorted by proximity.
If you'd like to view the entire list of comps, simply click "Download Comps".
A handy feature in this section is the Google Search icon (a blue “G”) next to each comp. Clicking it opens a new browser tab with a Google search for that address—perfect for quickly finding photos, listings, pricing history, or more background on the property.
Each comparable property also includes access to a free Property Details Report, offering deeper insights like:
- Historic Rent Data – See how that property’s rent has changed over time.
- Listing Info – Access past or current rental listings.

Public Record Data – View official records like ownership history and tax assessments.
Together, these insights help you better understand each comp and how it compares to your own property.
Downloading Rent Comp Data as a CSV
Prefer to analyze the comp data in a spreadsheet? No problem. Just click the blue "Download Comps" button at the top of the list to export the full comp list as a CSV file. This is a great option for property managers, agents, and investors who want to perform custom analysis or build reports.
Section 5: Public Record Data for Your Subject Property
Toward the end of the report, you’ll find a detailed section with public record data specific to your subject property. This information offers critical context to help you evaluate the property’s value, history, and rental potential.
Here’s what you can expect to see:
- Basic Property Details – Year built, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, property use classification
- Assessed Value & Tax History – Historical tax assessments and current property valuation
- Sales History – Last recorded sale date and sale price
- Deed & Mortgage Info – Mortgage amount, lender name, and recording date
- Additional Property Info – Building features such as roof material, HVAC system type, and more
This data adds another layer of insight, giving you a fuller picture of your property’s background—both financial and structural—so you can make smarter decisions.
